Product Marketing Manager

Three Rings, a SOMA-based independent game developer and creator of Puzzle Pirates and Spiral Knights, is currently hiring for the position of product marketing manager.

Three Rings markets games via multiple channels including direct advertising and distribution partnerships. The Product Marketing Manager will join a team focused on the creation, testing, and improvement of strategies for promoting each of our games. The position has a specific responsibility for direct ad promotion, but will also be able to participate in the game product management process and promotions strategy; success will be measured by the ability to work with both the game teams and our marketing partners to expand the playing population of our games.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Experience in the advertising market for online consumer products or services
• Hands-on experience driving customer acquisition via advertising, affiliate relationships, search marketing and Google/Facebook ads
• Understanding of viral techniques and how to foster genuine word of mouth
• Comfortable with quantitative metrics
• Understanding of how to build a forecast model using Excel
• Familiarity and enthusiasm for games
• Relentless focus on execution and creating new ideas and opportunities
• Cheerful willingness to make exciting things happen
